Students win big in Thai-India funfair event

The 4th Thai-India funfair in May 2018, saw enthusiastic participation from GIIS students who won prizes in arts and craft competition.

Jointly organised by Srinkharinwirot University and the Indian Social Club of Thailand, the event held 90 minute challenge in creative arts and crafts alongside an India-Thailand quiz contest.

The first prize was won by Akkawat and Baramee from Grade 5 and 6 respectively, while the second prize went to Grade 4 students Fahnun, Pat, Aayan and Vikas. Grade 7 student Ravinippa and Grade 9 student Praweetida won the third prize.

In the India-Thai quiz, Sitha Sonthichai from Grade 9, Prabal Khare from Grade 8 and Siddhant Khullar from Grade 7 won the first prize.

All the winners received awards from Dr Teerakiat Jareonsettasin, the Minister of Education in Thailand.

The achievers were recognised during the school assembly where the school principal gave them trophies.
