Investiture Ceremony 2015-162nd July, 2015: A solemn ceremony was conducted in Global Indian International School, Bangalore wherein the newly elected members of the student council took charge of their offices.

The celebration commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp followed by a rendition to the divine in the form of ‘Saraswati Vandana’. A Classical fusion by the orchestra team of GIIS left the audience mesmerized.

This was followed by the felicitation of the students who had excelled in the Olympiad exams 2014-15. Arjun Srikanth of Class VA and Laavya Kurade of Class IIIA were awarded medals and certificates by Mr. Ganesh Sharma, Principal GIIS Bangalore for their outstanding performance.

The Head Boy, Rishabh Singh Karki and Head Girl, Ahsrin Rishana delivered speech of discharging their duties with diligence and loyalty. The elected House Captains and Vice Captains also took the solemn oath under the guidance of Mr. Sharma. Ila Rajeev Nair from the Pre-primary section was elected ‘Young GIIS’ and she took the solemn oath as the youngest member of the Student council. Ms. Priya Rajesh and Ms. Richa Gupta, the selected prefect mistresses were introduced to the audiences.

It takes courage to become a leader. With courage you will dare to take risks , have the strength to be compassionate, and the wisdom to be humble. Courage is the foundation of integrity. The members of the student council dispensed a promise in the form of a song that they will imbibe courage as an inner strength to carry out their responsibilities in the most efficient manner.

It was indeed a proud moment for the parents and they wished the members success for their future endeavour. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
