Dear Parents, Students, and Members of the GIIS Family,
As we conclude an eventful and inspiring month of June, I am delighted to reflect on the many achievements, celebrations, and learning experiences that have enriched our school community.
The month began with meaningful observance of World Environment Day, where our students actively participated in initiatives that reinforced the importance of environmental stewardship. Through awareness activities, discussions, and sustainability-focused projects, our learners demonstrated their commitment to creating a greener and more responsible future.
We also celebrated International Yoga Day, embracing the timeless practice of yoga as a pathway to physical wellness, mental clarity, and emotional balance. It was heartening to witness enthusiastic participation from students, staff, and parents, highlighting our shared commitment to holistic well-being.
June was equally remarkable on the academic and innovation front. Our students showcased their creativity and technological prowess through participation in the prestigious HKU AI Challenge, where they explored the transformative potential of artificial intelligence and problem-solving. Such opportunities continue to empower our learners with future-ready skills and global exposure.
I am especially proud to celebrate the achievements of Ayushman Datta Hazra, who showcased exceptional talent and determination at the First IHAI Ice Hockey Championship 2026 held in Dehradun, and Eeshan Swaroop, who has made history on the international motorsport stage by becoming the first-ever Indian driver competing with an Indian team, Kartkrew Motorsports, to secure the Vice Champion title at the RMC Thailand Championship 2026 in the Mini Max and Mini Rookie categories. Their success is a true reflection of their commitment and excellence.
These milestones remind us that education extends beyond classrooms—it is about cultivating character, curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong passion for learning. I thank our students for their enthusiasm, our teachers for their unwavering dedication, and our parents for their continued partnership in shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
As we move forward into the coming months, let us continue to embrace every opportunity to learn, innovate, and excel together.
Warm Regards,
Principal
