A proud moment for the GIIS Whitefield community as our students demonstrated confidence, creativity, awareness and a strong sense of responsibility, earning multiple honours at GED & MCOP 2026 and Eco Showdown.
At GED & MCOP 2026, our students made their mark with their confidence and ability to engage with important global conversations. Vian from Grade 9 and Tanishq Nair from Grade 11 Science were recognised with the prestigious Outstanding Delegation Award, reflecting their active participation, communication skills and thoughtful approach to the event. GIIS Whitefield was also honoured with the Eco Leader Award trophy for 2025, recognising the continued importance placed on environmental awareness and responsible action.
Our young learners also showcased their creativity and environmental consciousness at Eco Showdown. Vedha Manoj from Grade 4 received a Well Done Commendation, while Devanshi from Grade 4 secured 1st Prize in the Painting Category. Kevin from Grade 3 added to the achievements by securing 3rd Prize in the same category.
These accomplishments reflect GEM 7: Personality Development, one of the nine pillars of the GIIS 9GEMS holistic education framework. Beyond academic learning, students are encouraged to develop confidence, communication, creativity, awareness and the ability to express their ideas meaningfully.
Whether engaging in global discussions, demonstrating environmental responsibility or expressing ideas through art, our students continue to show that learning can take many forms. Their achievements are a reflection of their curiosity, effort and willingness to participate beyond the classroom.
Congratulations to all our achievers! May you continue to learn, express, lead and make a positive difference wherever your journey takes you.
