At GIIS Whitefield, sporting excellence is about more than winning—it is about discipline, determination and the courage to push beyond limits. Eashan Swaroop from CLSP 6 exemplified this spirit by securing an impressive 3rd place at the IAME National Championship in Chennai over the weekend.
Competing at the national level, Eashan demonstrated remarkable focus, skill and competitive spirit as he took on some of the country’s talented young racers. His podium finish reflects the dedication and perseverance he continues to bring to his sporting journey.
His achievement is a proud moment for the GIIS Whitefield community and a wonderful example of GEM 2: Sports Excellence, one of the nine pillars of the GIIS 9GEMS framework. Through opportunities to compete, challenge themselves and strive for excellence, students are encouraged to develop not only sporting abilities but also qualities such as discipline, resilience and confidence.
Eashan’s success is a reminder that when passion meets perseverance, every race becomes an opportunity to grow and every finish line marks the beginning of a new challenge.
Congratulations, Eashan! We wish you many more podium finishes and milestones ahead.
