A celebration of India’s fascinating history and cultural diversity unfolded as young heritage enthusiasts from across GIIS campuses came together for The Legacy Lab – Inter-School Heritage Quiz. The event provided students with an exciting platform to explore the many facets of India’s heritage while putting their knowledge, teamwork, and quick thinking to the test.

Through a series of engaging quiz rounds, participants delved into the world of monuments, traditions, art, history, and cultural heritage. Each round encouraged students to think beyond conventional learning, connect with India’s rich past, and appreciate the stories and traditions that continue to shape the country.

The competition brought out impressive knowledge, enthusiasm, and teamwork among the participating teams. After an exciting contest, GIIS Whitefield secured the First Position, while Vikasa Madurai emerged as the Second Position holder, and GIIS Ahmedabad secured Third Position. Heartiest congratulations to all the winners and participants for their commendable efforts, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship.

Behind the success of the event was the constant encouragement and support of Principal Mr. Manoj Kumar Tiwari and Vice Principal Ms. Gunjan Gupta. Special appreciation goes to Coordinator Ms. Bharti for her invaluable guidance and unwavering support. We are also grateful to SEP In-charge Ms. Rekha for her collaboration with the participating campuses and for helping bring this enriching experience together.

The dedicated efforts of our SST teachers, Ms. Tapashi, Ms. Isha, and Ms. Parvathy, deserve special recognition. Their meticulous planning, coordination, and teamwork played an important role in ensuring the smooth execution of the quiz and creating a memorable experience for the students.

Beyond the excitement of competition, the event gave students an opportunity to develop a deeper appreciation for India’s diverse heritage. It fostered curiosity, collaboration, confidence, and healthy competition, while encouraging learners to look at history and culture through a more engaging and interactive lens.

Experiences such as these remind us that learning extends far beyond the classroom. By exploring and celebrating our heritage, students not only gain knowledge about the past but also develop a greater sense of responsibility towards preserving and carrying this legacy forward. The Legacy Lab was a wonderful celebration of knowledge, culture, teamwork, and the young minds who will shape the future.
