Celebrating Every Achievement: GIIS Whitefield's Annual Prize Day 2026

Success is never measured by trophies alone—it is reflected in the determination, resilience, and growth that every student demonstrates along the way. At GIIS Whitefield, Annual Prize Day 2026 was a heartfelt celebration of these qualities, bringing together students, parents, educators, and distinguished guests to honour excellence across academics, leadership, and holistic development.

The celebrations unfolded across two memorable ceremonies, recognising the accomplishments of students from Grades III to XII. While each event had its own unique charm, both shared a common purpose—to applaud hard work, inspire future aspirations, and celebrate the incredible journey of learning.

The Annual Prize Day for Grades VI to XII began on an auspicious note with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom. The atmosphere was elevated further by a graceful welcome dance that beautifully blended classical traditions with contemporary rhythms, setting the tone for an inspiring celebration.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Mr. Manoj Kumar Tiwari reflected on the importance of perseverance, integrity, and continuous learning. His words encouraged students to view every achievement not as a destination, but as a stepping stone towards greater aspirations.

The occasion was honoured by the presence of Chief Guest Dr. Prithvi Datta Chandra Shobhi and Guest of Honour Dr. N. Nagarajan, National Academic Head of GSG. Their inspiring presence and thoughtful messages motivated students to dream bigger while remaining grounded in values and purpose.

One of the most memorable moments of the ceremony was the felicitation of the academic toppers and subject achievers from Grades VI to XII. Alongside these outstanding students, recipients of the prestigious Global Citizen Scholarship (GCS) and Global Future-Ready Merit Scholarship (GFRM) were also recognised for their exceptional achievements. Their success reflected not only academic excellence but also the spirit of curiosity, leadership, and global citizenship that GIIS strives to nurture.

The celebrations continued with the Annual Prize Day for Grades III to V, where the youngest achievers took centre stage. The event captured the excitement and joy of recognising early milestones that lay the foundation for lifelong learning.

The ceremony welcomed esteemed Chief Guest Ms. Mutulakshmi, Assistant Professor at Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, whose encouraging words inspired students to remain curious, confident, and compassionate as they continue their educational journey.

Principal Mr. Manoj Kumar Tiwari warmly welcomed the gathering and spoke about the significance of embracing excellence with humility, upholding strong values, and developing a love for lifelong learning. His address resonated with students and parents alike, reminding everyone that every accomplishment begins with consistent effort and the courage to keep learning.

The celebration came alive through vibrant cultural performances that reflected the creativity and confidence of the students. The much-awaited prize distribution filled the auditorium with proud smiles, heartfelt applause, and unforgettable moments as young achievers walked up to receive recognition for their dedication and hard work.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Bharti Manik Chadha, Segment Coordinator, who expressed sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest, parents, teachers, staff, and students for making the celebration truly memorable.

Annual Prize Day 2026 was much more than an awards ceremony—it was a celebration of every challenge overcome, every goal achieved, and every dream that continues to grow. It reflected GIIS Whitefield's unwavering commitment to nurturing confident learners, compassionate individuals, and future-ready leaders who are prepared to make a meaningful impact on the world.

As the applause echoed through the campus, it served as a reminder that every achievement deserves to be celebrated, every effort deserves recognition, and every student has the potential to create an extraordinary future.
