GIIS Smart Campus, Balewadi honoured with Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality Award for Customer Focus

The Global Indian International School (GIIS), Smart Campus Balewadi has been conferred upon the prestigious IMC&rsquo;s Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality Award. It is a milestone merit award under the Customer Focus category by IMC RBNQA awarded to GIIS Balewadi on 16th April 2021. The felicitation ceremony was held virtually this time citing the current scenario.

The event was conducted to celebrate the success stories of all the achievers from various industries such as education, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, clothing, FMCG, and refinery. The Indian Merchant Chamber, Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality Awards are the most reputed awards in Quality across India. In 2019, a new category &ndash; Milestone Merit award was introduced to acknowledge the achievers from diverse industries.

The Milestone Merits recognition has been an interesting option for organisations to explore this excellence journey. Milestone Merit awards are robust.

The criteria for each of the 5 milestone merit categories, i.e. leadership, customer focus, workforce focus, operations focus, &amp; safety are essentially the same as those of corresponding criteria in IMC Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality Awards.

After receiving the award Dr. N.K.P Ashok Raj offered true gratitude towards the entire team and said, &nbsp;&ldquo;this achievement was possible due to the constant support and guidance of Mr. Atul Temurnikar &ndash; Co-founder and Chairman, GSF and also the involvement of faculty, staff, students, alumni, esteemed recruiters and other stakeholders of the Institution.&rdquo;

He concluded further by saying that &ldquo;GIIS Balewadi is working relentlessly towards enhancing the lives of the students by providing quality education at affordable fees since its foundation in 2002. GIIS is also committed to bringing about technological advancement in education to create NextGen Learning at the SMART Campus in order to prepare the students for the global future. Apart from the core academics, the students are groomed for overall development by offering 9 Gems modules, and certification courses provided through their own initiative (LMS) in order to help the staff members by offering relevant courses based on their specialized subjects.&rdquo;&nbsp;
