The students of Grade 2D at Global Indian International School (GIIS), Balewadi, conducted a special assembly on the theme “Magic Words Make Magic,” highlighting the importance of politeness, kindness, and respectful communication in everyday life.

The assembly began with the school prayer, followed by the pledge and the thought of the day. The highlight of the programme was a skit presented by the students, which demonstrated the significance of using magic words such as please, thank you, sorry, and excuse me.

Through meaningful dialogues and expressive performances, the young learners conveyed how kind words can spread happiness, strengthen relationships, and foster a positive environment at home, in school, and in society.

The assembly also featured character portrayals of inspiring personalities, allowing students to explore the lives, values, and contributions of great leaders who continue to inspire generations. The presentations encouraged students to appreciate the importance of good values and positive behaviour.

The programme was both engaging and informative, reinforcing the message that even the simplest words can make a meaningful difference when spoken with kindness and sincerity. Through this initiative, the students learned that practising politeness and empathy in everyday interactions can create a happier and more harmonious environment for everyone.
