The GMP section of GIIS Balewadi, celebrated Earth Day by combining fun activities with meaningful lessons about protecting the planet. The young learners were introduced to the concept of Earth and its essential elements, including land, water, air, plants, and the sun. To make the learning experience more engaging and interactive, teachers dressed up as these natural elements, helping children understand their importance in a simple and enjoyable way.

As part of the celebration, students also learned about the challenges faced by Mother Earth, such as pollution, deforestation, and water wastage. Through age-appropriate discussions and activities, children were encouraged to think about how their small actions can make a big difference in protecting the environment.

Adding a creative touch to the event, the children performed a mime act to express their understanding of caring for the Earth. Their performance highlighted simple yet powerful messages about saving water, reducing pollution, and keeping the surroundings clean.

The Earth Day celebration not only made learning enjoyable but also inspired the young students to become responsible and environmentally conscious citizens from an early age.
