GIIS Balewadi celebrated Yellow and Cream Colour Day with enthusiasm, creating a vibrant and engaging learning experience for its young learners. The special celebration was designed to help children recognise and understand the significance of yellow and cream while strengthening their fine motor skills through a range of fun-filled activities.

The celebration began with an interactive PowerPoint presentation by the teachers, introducing the children to the meaning and emotions associated with the two colours. Students learnt that yellow is often associated with happiness, positivity, warmth and energy, much like the bright sunshine. Cream, on the other hand, represents calmness, simplicity and elegance.

To add colour and excitement to the occasion, the teachers beautifully decorated the theme board and organised a variety of yellow- and cream-themed activities for different grades. The children enthusiastically participated in activities such as Emoji Balloon Toss, Ball Pass, Lemon Squeezing, Football Scoop, Flower Bracelet Making, and Peel and Slice Banana.

These hands-on experiences encouraged the children to explore colours while developing their coordination, concentration and fine motor abilities. The activities also provided opportunities for learning through play, creativity and active participation.
