GIIS Balewadi, celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on its campus, bringing together students and staff in a colourful display of national pride.

The programme began with the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag by the school Principal, Ms Munmun Chakraborty. This was followed by the National Anthem, which filled the campus with a sense of unity, pride, and respect for the nation.

Students played a central role in the celebrations, starting with a soulful patriotic song that beautifully conveyed their love for the country. The event gathered momentum with energetic and joyful dance performances by students of Grades 1 and 2, whose enthusiasm and colourful presentations captivated the audience.

The atmosphere then turned calm and reflective with the rendition of the Saraswati Vandana, invoking blessings of wisdom and knowledge. This was followed by an Award Ceremony recognising students for their commendable achievements throughout the academic year.

Students were felicitated for Academic Excellence, Remarkable Progress, and Excellent Attendance. Special recognition was also accorded to Grade 10 students who secured over 90 per cent marks, acknowledging their dedication, perseverance, and hard work.

The Republic Day celebration concluded on an inspiring note, reinforcing the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution and motivating students to strive for excellence while contributing responsibly to the nation’s future.
