The Inter-House Basketball Tournament for Boys in Grades 6-8 ignited a fiery spirit of competition among GIIS KL's young athletes. Held on the school's basketball court on July 21st and 22nd, the event showcased the talents of the four participating houses: Chrysanthemum, Orchid, Sunflower, and Hibiscus.


The preliminary rounds on July 21st set the stage for an exciting tournament. In a closely matched battle, Orchid defeated Chrysanthemum to secure a spot in the finals. Meanwhile, Hibiscus emerged victorious over Sunflower.
 

The highly anticipated finals on July 22nd saw Orchid and Hibiscus battle it out for the championship title. In a thrilling display of skill and teamwork, Orchid claimed the championship trophy, while Hibiscus earned the runner-up position. Sunflower's consistent performance throughout the tournament secured them third place.
 

Beyond the competition, the tournament embodied the school's values of Sports Excellence (Gem 2) and Skill Development (Gem 9). It fostered camaraderie among participants while promoting physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.
