The GIIS KL School Auditorium was absolutely buzzing with pride and anticipation on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, as the school rolled out the red carpet for its highly-anticipated Investiture Ceremony 2025! The atmosphere was electric as the torch of leadership was officially passed to the next generation of student heroes.

This was no ordinary morning assembly! The ceremony was a momentous occasion that celebrated the spirit of leadership and responsibility within the student body. The spotlight shone brightly on the newly elected Prefects and the energetic Sports House Leaders for the 2025-2026 term, who were formally ready to step into their new roles. Adding to the joy, the proud parents of these young leaders were invited to witness this special milestone in the School Auditorium.

The Principal, Ms. Dipti Joshna, took center stage to perform the essential task: the badge presentation! This act marked the formal appointment of the new student council and sports leaders, thereby acknowledging their significant responsibility in carrying out their duties.

Once badged, the new Prefects, Sports Captains, and House Captains demonstrated their commitment by taking a solemn oath of duty and integrity. They pledged to lead by example and uphold the values of the school with diligence, though we're sure there will be plenty of fun along the way!

This occasion powerfully reflected the school's commitment to the 9Gems holistic approach, specifically Gem 4: Personality Development, Gem 6: Entrepreneurship & Leadership, Gem 8: Community and Care, and Gem 9: Skill Development. This dedication to holistic student growth and community engagement naturally extends to and aligns with the global framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event strongly supports SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

Finally, the event concluded with a fantastic photo session to capture these memorable moments and refreshments shared among students, staff, and parents, successfully fostering a deep sense of community and celebration that makes GIIS KL so special.
