Kindergarteners Master Teamwork Through Structured Play

Laughter, cheering, and vibrant energy filled the GIIS KL field on 14th August 2026 as our enthusiastic Kindergarteners participated in a dynamic structured play activity. Designed to turn learning into a thrilling outdoor experience, the day was all about discovering the power of working together.

Equipped with bright hoops and colorful balls, the young learners were split into teams and given a series of engaging relay challenges. Their goal was simple yet meaningful: move hoops and balls from one point to another as a team. As the activity unfolded, the children quickly realized that speed was only half the battle, the true secret to success lay in cooperation and clear communication.

Throughout the session, students practiced essential life skills in real-time. They eagerly rooted for their classmates, gracefully waited for their turns, and offered helping hands whenever a teammate needed support. Watching the children navigate the obstacles together highlighted their growing ability to communicate, coordinate, and adapt as a cohesive unit. Aligning with the core values of the 9 Gems framework and global sustainable development goals, this hands-on play session proved that when children learn to collaborate early on, there is nothing they cannot achieve together.
