Guided gently by their teachers, the students focused on using their thumb and index fingers to pluck individual leaves from plants and place them carefully into containers. Through these delicate movements, the children actively strengthened their fine motor skills and perfected their pincer grip, the exact muscular control required for holding pencils, using scissors, and mastering future writing tasks.
