Diwali celebrations at GIIS Uppal, Hyderabad

The campus was filled with festive colours.  Highlights included a beautiful dance performance by the girls of the primary section and a wonderful song Happy Diwali sung by the girls choir. The children put a mythological play &quot;Narakasura Vadha&quot;. The story goes - Narakasura, the demon king set an evil eye on Satyabhama, Lord Krishnas wife. When Lord Krishna learns of this, he kills the demon and establishes his victory as the day of celebration of lights &quot;Diwali.</p>
