Ananthagiri Hills

Away to the hills, on a yellow bus; Enjoying the view like a picture on canvass!
This was a trip - a memorable one, with GIIS family, it was so much fun

Breaking away from the monotony of classrooms, paper corrections and tallying marks, GIIS took the teachers to a wonderful day out at Ananthagiri Hills in the AP Forest. Ananthagiri Hills is one of the biggest forest area in the Ranga Reddy district. There is a Vishnu temple in this forest area which is called Ananta Padmanabha Swami Temple. Theres a forest guest house about 1 km from Ananta Padmanabha Swami Temple. Nature freaks frequent the place. For that one day they let their hair down and their go with the flow attitude was just childlike.

GIIS encourages such activities as a team building exercise and allowing the latent talents of its staff to come into focus. The teachers went for trekking, rappelling, water games, etc. with specialised trainers in the respective field. For this one time they behaved like students and not teachers.
