GIIS Charholi proudly celebrated its first-ever Independence Day event, with the programme being conducted by the enthusiastic students of Grades 5, 6 and 7. The event was graced by Dr Reshma Shaikh, the founding principal of GIIS Charholi; Mrs Sunita Sharma, Guest of Honour; and Mr Arvind Jain, Chief Guest.

The celebration brought together a vibrant blend of patriotism, creativity and student talent. The programme commenced with the flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by a series of meaningful cultural presentations. Students performed a graceful patriotic dance expressing their love for the nation, while others dressed as inspiring Indian freedom fighters, bringing the stories and spirit of India's struggle for independence to life.

The students also presented a powerful Nukkad Natak, using theatre to convey messages of patriotism and social awareness. The celebrations concluded on a soulful note with a patriotic choir performance, filling the atmosphere with pride and emotion.

The event was organised to celebrate India's freedom while encouraging students to understand and appreciate the values of patriotism, courage, unity and responsibility. The first Independence Day celebration at GIIS Charholi was therefore more than a commemorative event; it was a heartfelt expression of young India's pride in its heritage and hope for its future. The enthusiasm and talent displayed by the students made the occasion truly memorable, creating cherished memories that will continue to inspire the GIIS Charholi community.
