GIIS Charholi recently organised a comprehensive Puberty Education Workshop for pre-teens and teenage girls in collaboration with Brand Side Story and Whisper. The initiative aimed to create awareness, build confidence, and provide students with accurate information about adolescence in a safe and supportive environment.
The workshop was led by a trained child psychologist who encouraged open conversations about the physical, emotional, and psychological changes experienced during puberty. The session went beyond textbook knowledge, focusing on emotional well-being, self-care, and developing a positive outlook towards growing up.
Through engaging and interactive discussions, students were able to openly ask questions and clear common misconceptions surrounding adolescence. Myths were addressed with scientific explanations, helping participants better understand the changes taking place in their bodies and minds.
The psychologist also highlighted the importance of maintaining healthy habits, practicing hygiene, and nurturing self-confidence during this important phase of life. Students were encouraged to communicate openly with parents, teachers, and peers whenever they needed guidance or emotional support.
Interactive activities designed to strengthen self-esteem and resilience made the session highly relatable and impactful. The workshop successfully created a respectful and reassuring atmosphere where students felt heard, supported, and empowered.
Overall, the initiative proved to be an enriching and meaningful experience for the participants, equipping them with valuable knowledge, confidence, and emotional strength to navigate adolescence with positivity and self-assurance.
