Memories of school educational trips are among the most prominent of the formative years, largely because they are a welcome break in the routine for both students and teachers. While their purpose is essentially to educate, they can also be a fun bonding experience for everyone involved. 

Expo 2020 is built on the theme ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’, promoting cooperation among people from different fields and backgrounds to foster innovation and progress.  This is underpinned by the sub-themes: Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability, all of which offer a platform for education and knowledge development.

Global Indian International School, Abu Dhabi, arranged the opportunity for the students of Grade 1 to 4 to visit the greatest show in the world EXPO 2020 from March 21st to 24th 2022 in batches and students have been captivated by the splendor and grandeur. Students were excited to walk into the country pavilions and interact with technology on display.  They were awestruck by the beauty and mesmerized by the breathtaking landmark. Students have explored Sustainable planet, the World of opportunities, and the extravagant mobility pavilions. Without doubt, our students were all surprised and amazed to see the wonderful world that Expo showcased.  They enjoyed themselves and had a wonderful day.

EXPO 2020 has provided essential learning experiences that will surely enhance our students’ overall learning allowing our students to not only learn about the world, but also EXPERIENCE the world is an important value we hope to instill.  The students can understand what innovation means and will be able to make real-life connections.

Learning within the four walls of the classroom is one thing; experiencing all the world has to offer in living colour opens up all new opportunities, inquiries, and possibilities

It was a once in a lifetime event for our students!  All of them have returned with a promise to revisit Expo.
