GIIS Abu Dhabi has marked a significant milestone in future-focused learning with the successful completion of Qutuhal Prime – Season 1, a pioneering year-long AI skill development programme designed to empower students with cutting-edge capabilities in artificial intelligence.

Launched in May as a first-of-its-kind initiative, Qutuhal Prime was introduced exclusively for GIIS Abu Dhabi students as the flagship host programme under the renowned Qutuhal Mother Program. Built on the belief that innovation is nurtured through sustained curiosity and guided exploration, the programme aimed to move students beyond basic awareness into meaningful AI exploration, application, and prototyping.

Unlike short-term workshops, Qutuhal Prime unfolded as a structured and immersive journey over an entire academic year. This long-term engagement enabled learners to develop a deeper understanding of AI through hands-on creation, experimentation, and real-world problem solving.

Throughout the programme, students explored a wide range of advanced AI tools and platforms, including Teachable Machine, Google AI Labs, Gemini-based app building, Google Colab, Bing and Google AI Studio, Story Wizard, and app development tools such as Glide Apps and App Sheets, allowing them to create innovative Qutuhal Apps and AI-driven solutions.

A defining feature of Qutuhal Prime was its strong culture of motivation and recognition. Students were encouraged through leaderboards, milestone celebrations, and continuous appreciation, fostering sustained engagement and a spirit of healthy competition.

The programme culminated in a proud moment at the Qutuhal Grand Finale, where exceptional participants were honoured as Qutuhal Ambassadors, symbolising leadership, innovation, and commitment to responsible AI learning.

The completion of Qutuhal Prime – Season 1 stands as a powerful reflection of GIIS Abu Dhabi’s dedication to nurturing future innovators and making AI education accessible, meaningful, and empowering. As the school looks ahead, Qutuhal Prime continues to inspire students to dream bigger, build smarter, and lead confidently in an AI-driven world.
