GIIS, Abu Dhabi students topped the school with great results in CBSE 10 and  12, which were declared by the board yesterday. Arleen Klenissa topped the CBSE 12 Science Stream, while Amal Mariyam Shaj topped the Commerce Stream and Fiza Zubair the Humanities Stream in the CBSE 12 Board results for GIIS, Abu Dhabi campus, results announced today showed. 

Arleen scored 86.6% overall and emerged subject topper in Physics and Chemistry with 90% marks.

Amal scored 89.4% topping her stream and emerged subject topper in Business Studies and accounts.

Fiza scored 92.6% overall and  emerged subject topper in English, Economics and Sociology with 100% marks in Sociology.

The overall pass percentage is 71% and more than 46% of the students scored above 70%. 

Reacting to the results, Dr Heena Rachh, Principal of GIIS Abu Dhabi Campus said, ”The academic year was tough due to the pandemic, but our students showed great resilience in the face of challenges. I am also thankful to the teachers for putting extra effort for student benefit in the times of virtual and blended learning.”

At GIIS, each year, students do exceedingly well in CBSE as a result of the strong pedagogy taught at the SMART Campus in Abu Dhabi. The curriculum is a blend of 21st-century education and skill-based holistic development that nurtures our students to become global citizens.
