Anti-Bullying Week at GIIS Abu Dhabi was an impactful reminder of the importance of fostering a culture of kindness, empathy, and inclusion among our students. Throughout the week, students engaged in a variety of activities designed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of bullying and empower them to take positive action.
The week featured awareness sessions, street plays, and peer-led programs by the Inside Out Society, helping students recognise bullying behaviours and understand the power of standing up for others. Creative activities like poem writing, poster making, and the exchange of ‘Be a Buddy’ wristbands encouraged reflection on the values of unity, respect, and compassion.
The week's key focus was cyberbullying, with ongoing discussions and lessons to promote responsible online behaviour. This week reaffirmed the school’s commitment to creating an environment where every student feels safe, valued, and inspired to contribute to a positive, bully-free community.
