Every year Global Indian International School, Thailand celebrates Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm and fervour.  This year too it was a great event on the 5th September 2020.

The Embassy of India, Thailand H.E. Suchitra Durai, conveyed her gratitude and thanked all the teachers for the efforts they undertook to conduct teaching sessions through video-conferencing during the unprecedented Covid-19 situation.  

Ms Durai addressed the school through a zoom video conferencing and felicitated the teachers by promoting the hashtag line by CBSE- India, “Our Teachers Our Heroes.”

GIIS is the only CBSE school in Thailand and is well immersed in the local culture of Thailand. The school not only celebrates Indian festivals and cultural affairs but also Thai festivals and events with the same zest.
