Sports Day isn't merely about winning medals; it's a celebration of unity, teamwork, and healthy competition. As the sun rises high in the azure sky on February 16, 2024, the grounds of GIIS are buzzing with excitement and anticipation. With hearts pounding and spirits soaring, students and teachers gather to celebrate the indomitable spirit of sportsmanship.

Our School Director, Arisara Phromngern, declared the meet open with a short motivational speech for the students.

From the thunderous cheers on the track to the resounding applause in the stands, the atmosphere is electric with energy and enthusiasm. The field is alive with the rhythmic pounding of feet and the triumphant shouts of victory. Our sporty sprouts, from kindergarten to Grade 9, performed their best individually and by house. But amidst the thrill of competition, there's a palpable sense of mutual respect and support – a testament to the values of fair play and sportsmanship instilled within each student. 

Sunflower House clinched the overall championship, while Orchid, Chrysanthemum, and Hibiscus Houses, displaying unwavering enthusiasm, joyously celebrated the triumph together. As we bid adieu to another memorable Sports Day, we carry with us the spirit of unity and competition, ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead, together as a team.
