GIIS Tokyo recently marked a momentous occasion on 2nd February 2024, as we came together at our Nishi Kasai campus to celebrate the Blessing Ceremony for CBSE Class 10 and the Graduation Ceremony for CBSE Class 12 students. It was a day filled with warmth, inspiration, and nostalgia as we bid farewell to our graduating seniors and wished the best for our departing students.
 

The event commenced with a gracious welcome extended to our esteemed guests, students, and their proud parents of Grade 10 and 12. Our beloved Principal, Ms. Madhu Khanna, presided over the ceremony, offering her blessings and heartfelt wishes to the outgoing students as they embark on their future journeys.
 

The atmosphere was made even more serene with an invocation led by a priest from the ISKCON Temple, emphasizing the importance of leading a prosperous and humble life and striving for excellence in all endeavors.
 

As we reminisced about the cherished memories shared by both classes, the program unfolded with captivating dance performances by Grade 9 students from the academic year 2023-2024, captivating the audience and keeping them enthralled.
 

We were honored to have Mr. Sumit Mishra, the Country Director of Global School Foundation for Japan and South Korea, as our Guest of Honour. His insightful address provided valuable guidance to the students as they prepare to navigate life's journey beyond the school gates.
 

Ms. Madhu Khanna, along with Mr. Sumit Mishra, bestowed certificates and mementoes upon the graduating students of Grade 12, who in turn shared heartfelt speeches, reminiscing about their cherished moments at GIIS Tokyo.
 

Following this, Grade 10 students were blessed with positive titles and thoughtful gifts, symbolizing our hopes and best wishes for their future endeavors.
 

The festivities concluded with a joyful cake-cutting ceremony and a group photo session, capturing the essence of the day's celebrations. A vote of thanks was extended by Riya Vinod, the Cultural Secretary from CBSE class 11, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event.
 

The day continued with snacks and games, providing moments of joy and camaraderie for both Grade 10 and Grade 12 students, further strengthening the bonds within our GIIS Tokyo family.

The Blessing Ceremony and Graduation Day at GIIS Tokyo's Nishi Kasai campus was an heartwarming occasion. It was a time to reflect on the achievements and growth of our students and to wish them all the best as they embark on new journeys in their lives.
