Global Indian International School (GIIS) and Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) are commemorating the United Nations International Day of Non-Violence on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s 147th birth anniversary this Sunday, 2 October 2016.

We are happy to inform you that this year Prof. Subrata K Mitra, Director, Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS) will deliver the keynote address and Smt. Paramita Tripathi, Acting High Commissioner of India to Singapore, will be presiding at this event.

As part of this event we will be able to witness, through a live webcast, the historic inauguration of the Pravasi Bharatiya Kendra and its dedication to the Indian Diaspora by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in Delhi.
