Students of GIIS Tokyo Campus went to Kasai Rinkai Park for birdwatching on 2 July 2016. Teachers of Class 1 at GIIS Tokyo Campus, Ms Aditi Patki and Ms Itako accompanied students along with few parents on the trip. Throughout the tour, the students spotted many different species of birds, including Egrets, Cormorants, Grebes, Black Tailed Gulls, Black Crows, Tree Sparrows, Starlings, etc. The students also had a wonderful opportunity to learn about the Japanese names and some interesting facts about these birds. The school Principal Ms Rajeswary Sambathrajan congratulated the teachers for the admirable initiative.
