GIIS Tokyo Campus conducts and educational Waseda University Career Counselling Session

<p>GIIS Tokyo Campus arranged for a very informative and an educational career counselling session at the campus on 27 June 2016. The session was conducted by the Waseda University Admissions team. Waseda University is one of Japan's oldest and most respected universities. It is also one of the top universities in Japan and is quite popular with foreigners as well.</p>
<p>A few undergrad and doctoral students from the university also spoke at the event. They introduced Waseda University School of International Liberal Studies SILS) to GIIS students and handed over brochures and pamphlets to them as well. The session was initiated by the admissions team of the university with an instructive presentation about the university and its undergrad programmes offered in English.</p>

<p>The School of International Liberal Studies was founded in 2004 and all the classes are taught in English, and the school aims to recruit about one third of its student body from abroad. The school has a liberal arts curriculum, which allows students to choose freely, from hard sciences to performing arts. Due to this session, the students at GIIS Tokyo Campus got a chance to discover their own interests.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 15px;">After the session, the school principal, teachers and a few students asked several questions to the visiting team. The school principal, Ms Rajeswary Sambathrajan thanked the team and requested them to arrange for a visit to the university by the students of GIIS Tokyo Campus.</p>
