Children enacted visiting the Supermarket with their shopping list. The children who were working as cashiers at the Supermarket attended to their customers at the check-out area. All the fruits were collected in a big tray. Children were encouraged to touch the fruit, feel the texture of its peel and name the colors they see. Children along with the teacher peeled the fruits. Teachers cut the fruits and children observed what’s inside. Together they used the cut fruits to prepare a salad. They also participated in making yummy, frothy milkshakes in all different flavors and enjoyed drinking them. Children were very excited and engaged in making colorful milkshakes. The activity was hands on taught the children skills of investigation and observation.
