Dubai, 8th Dec 2023 : The Global Indian International School (GIIS) Dubai campus witnessed a landmark event as students from grades 9 to 12 embarked on an educational journey to the UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COP28) held in Expo City Dubai. The students&#39; participation marked a significant stride towards environmental consciousness and global citizenship.&nbsp;

COPs are convened under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), a multilateral treaty adopted in 1992. The meetings serve as the formal meetings of the Conference of the Parties - hence the acronym.
