Global Indian International School inaugurated its new campus in Al-Barsha, Dubai, adding a new page to its UAE Chapter. The state-of-the-art campus will provide a holistic platform to support GIIS’ unique framework – to not only teach and learn, but also assess and enhance the multiple intelligences of every child.

The campus houses a Robotics Lab, a Digital Studio, Makers Space and an Incubation Centre to inculcate a tech-creative bent of mind from an early age. Besides, an Art studio, a Choir Room, a Key Board Studio and a School Band Room have been set up to foster and develop creative aptitudes.

The talented faculty at the campus is committed to create learning experiences that prepare students to be balanced, happy, innovative and competent future-ready citizens.

The inauguration of GIIS Dubai also marked the launch of four major programmes aimed at grooming future global leaders. These were Global Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Global Sports Excellence Programme, Comprehensive Music, Art and Dance Programme and Al Tasamuh Programme.

The sprawling campus boasts of a robust sports infrastructure, including a 200 meter athletic track, a soccer & hockey ground, two basketball courts, four squash courts and a swimming pool.

Situated in Al Barsha, an up-and-coming sub-community of Dubai, the campus has launched KG classes in 2017-18 and shall upgrade till Grade 5 in 2018-19 with plans to branch out into higher grades in subsequent years.
