In a spectacular display of talent and creativity, GIIS Dubai hosted their much-awaited Annual Concert for Grades 3-9 with the theme ‘Classics and Legend’. The school's auditorium was transformed into a magical realm as students brought iconic characters to life on stage, merging timeless literary classics with the magic of legendary musical icons.

The event began with a whimsical portrayal of Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland," where characters from other works like Harry Potter, Mathilda and so on donned elaborate costumes to transport the audience down the rabbit hole and into the Mad Hatter’s Tea party. The enchanting performance showcased the students' theatrical prowess captivated the audience with their lively antics and vibrant personalities.

Following the Wonderland adventure, the stage metamorphosed into Neverland, where the characters continued their journey into a captivating rendition of J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan before arriving at the yellow brick road with the Wizard of Oz. The wonderful theatrical performance was aptly complemented by the school choir and the dancers who weaved magic into their performance. 

The highlight of the concert was however a beautiful performance on songs composed by the legendary, A.R. Rahman. The fusion of cultures and musical genres showcased the school's commitment to celebrating diversity and embracing a global perspective.

The Annual Concert not only highlighted the students' artistic talents but also served as a testament to the school's dedication to fostering creativity and providing a platform for students to showcase their skills. The event concluded with a standing ovation from the appreciative audience, leaving everyone eagerly anticipating next year's spectacle of talent and imagination.
