In a move to showcase the diverse cesspool of talent, GIIS Dubai launched a 5-episode podcast series ‘Footprints of Excellence’ where student RJs get the opportunity to interview student achievers who have made an indelible mark in different fields of life. The inaugural episode features an exclusive interview with a rising star in women’s international cricket and GIIS’s pride Al Maseera Jahangir who recently made her debut for the UAE in a prestigious international tournament and is now gearing up for the women’s World Cup. 

The ‘Footprints of Excellence' podcast is a testament to the school's commitment to celebrating the accomplishments and talents of its students beyond the classroom. The series will cover a wide range of fields, offering a glimpse into the multifaceted achievements of the student body.

In the first episode, listeners are treated to an insightful conversation between the podcast host, fellow student Aishwarya Malhotra, and Al Massera, the cricket prodigy making waves on the international stage. Al Maseera shares her journey from discovering her passion for cricket to representing the UAE in a high-stakes tournament.
