In a momentous occasion, GIIS Dubai celebrated the graduation of the very first outgoing batch of Grade 12 students with a grand ceremony filled with pride, joy and inspiration. The Multi purpose Hall decked up for the occasion marking a significant milestone in GIIS Dubai’s history. 

The halls of GIIS Dubai were decked up for the occasion and the event began with the Class of 2024 walking the red carpet to the MPH with the student council of the school following them. The hall was brimming with parents, teachers and the grade 12 students who proudly donned their blue graduation robes. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation and pride as the school recognized the hard work and achievements of this pioneering batch. 

The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Antony Koshy, the school's principal, and Savita Vaidya, a distinguished figure in the community who served as the chief guest for the event. Both speakers delivered powerful and motivational speeches, emphasising the significance of the students' accomplishments and encouraging them to pursue their dreams with determination and resilience.

The Principal commended the graduates for their dedication, perseverance, and the positive impact they have had on the school community and expressed gratitude to the students' families and teachers for their unwavering support throughout the academic journey. “It gives me great pride to see you off to the next chapter of your life. I am extremely emotional as you will be our first graduating batch from GIIS Dubai. You all will always have a special place in all of our hearts. Remember to always keep the spirit of this school burning in your heart as you will always be representatives of GIIS Dubai,” said Principal Koshy. 

Following the inspirational speeches, the highlight of the ceremony unfolded as each graduate walked across the stage to receive their well-deserved certificates. The air was filled with cheers and applause as parents, teachers, and friends celebrated the accomplishments of the graduating class. The ceremony reached its pinnacle with the symbolic throwing of the caps, a tradition that signifies the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new and exciting journey.
