Diwali, known as 'The Festival of Lights,' is a vibrant celebration that unites communities in the spirit of joy, goodness, and triumph over darkness. On the 9th of November, 2023, the corridors of the GIIS Tokyo Kindergarten campus were ablaze with vibrant hues as the spirit of Diwali, also known as 'The Festival of Lights,' enveloped the school in a joyous embrace. With every corner adorned with gleaming Diyas, lanterns casting intricate patterns of light, and decorative hangings adding an extra touch of festivity, the entire campus exuded a palpable air of celebration. The assembly hall, bedecked in brilliant colors, served as the epicenter of this radiant fiesta. The Rangoli, a traditional Indian art form, expertly crafted by our dedicated teachers, set the stage for a celebration that would leave a lasting impression.

Conducted with utmost affection by our beloved teachers, the special assembly was a heartwarming affair that captured the true essence of Diwali - a celebration of life's goodness and the victory of light over darkness. As part of the festivities, the children were treated to a visually captivating Diwali PowerPoint presentation. This enlightening presentation delved into the heart of Diwali, emphasizing the age-old belief that goodness perpetually triumphs over evil. In the true spirit of togetherness, each class in Kindergarten undertook the delightful task of crafting their own Diya.
