We are thrilled to announce that two students from GIIS Noida have been selected to participate in the prestigious 12th National Schools Chess Championships-2024. Organized by the All Bihar Chess Association and supported by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, this event is all set to be a showcase of talent and determination in the game of chess.

Garvit Jain from Class 4A and Ganak Aggarwal from Class 4C have been selected to represent our school in the championship. Garvit Jain holds the AICF Code Under-9: 350652, while Ganak Aggarwal holds the AICF Code Under-11: 350653. Their dedication and passion for chess have earned them this remarkable opportunity to compete at the national level.

The 12th National Schools Chess Championships-2024 will take place from 6th February to 10th February 2024 at Gyan Bhavan, Ground Floor, Patna. This prestigious event will bring together young chess enthusiasts from across the country to showcase their skills and compete for top honours.

Participating in national-level competitions not only fosters a spirit of healthy competition but also instils important values such as discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship in our students. We are immensely proud of Garvit Jain and Ganak Aggarwal for their achievement and wish them the best of luck in the upcoming championship.
