26th January is testimony to the most vibrant, energetic and secular Democracy in the world.

The 75th Republic Day was celebrated with pride and reverence at Global Indian International School, Noida Campus. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the tricolour flag by our respected coordinators and sports department followed by the National Anthem to pay tribute to the motherland.

GIIS Noida students across grades took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. The school choir brought the whole environment alive with their passion and love for the motherland through their patriotic songs. Listening to and singing patriotic songs, triggered in the children and teachers alike, many emotions of pride, love and respect for the country.

What needs special mention is the musical presentation by two of our students, Aanvi Verma and Mantasa Gera – Grade 10, who added to the patriotic spirit of the celebrations.

Ms Jyotsana Lakhawat, our Middle Segment Coordinator address the gathering by expressing her gratitude to the parents for their continuous trust and support in all the endeavours of the school. She also motivated the students to create a great nation through collective efforts from all individuals. The students dispersed after the distribution of snacks with the image of the fluttering tricolour in their minds and hearts.

May we continue celebrating this day forever! Overall, the programme was successful in bringing out the essence of Republic Day and the spirit of nationalism.
