Clay moulding is one of the ways to develop fine motor skills in children. It not only caters to the needs of pre writing skills but also smoothens wrist and finger muscles preparing them for the formal writing.

Children develop creative skills, aesthetic skills, social skills and cognitive skills too.A clay moulding competition was held on 29th November, 2011 at the Kindergarten level . The children prepared different models where their inherent talents were out bounded.
