The greeting cards created for Teacher@aps@s Day reflected the element of cultural integration prominently in the designs. All cards carried a special message for teachers, as well as integration between Singapore and India. What made it special was the fact that the cards were made by students in school.

"The objective of this activity was to inculcate in our students the value of gratitude and the expression of this virtue. It is to teach students that when it comes to life it is critical to take things with gratitude than for granted," expressed Ms Meenakshi Mehta. The cards were put up on display at GIIS Queenstown Campus and highlights of the event were telecast in MediaCorp@aps@s Vasantham Channel news on September 5, 2013.
