Noted ghazal singer, Ms. Penaz Masani visited the school on 6th September along with her choreographer and event coordinator. A brief introduction, some questions and answers, and then she soon had the assembled students and teachers ‘dancing to her tune’ in an impromptu session. Later in the evening she performed at the Malaysian Tourism Information Centre under the auspices of the Indian High Commission and GIIS Malaysia, a lively set of perfectly choreographed popular songs and ghazals, and invited all the GIIS students to join her on stage for the last item.
