In February 2016, GIIS KL hosted an Education Fair at their campus and the exhibitors were from

It was attended by Students of GIIS(CBSE,CBSE-I & Cambridge) from class IX to XI, Parents of GIIS Students and Teachers of GIIS.

The key objective of Global Education Fair at GIIS, Malaysia is to provide adequate information to the students about all levels of education and training - general, college, and university in Malaysia and abroad.

Face-to-face interaction with the institution authorities in a friendly and informal atmosphere provided an opportunity for students and parents to know more about educational opportunities in Malaysia and also to understand the global advancements in education in consideration with the job prospects in future.

In the first session the Delegates from the respective Universities were welcomed and introduced to the visitors.

After the welcome address by the school Principal Ms. Mamta Bhargava, the University representatives presented a short video which showcased the education offering to future students from GIIS, KL.

In the next session which was an interactive session, the visitors got to interact with the representatives of the educational institutions by visiting their stalls with specific questions. They showed much interest to gather information on how to apply at international universities, scholarships and grants that they can access, Dual degree programs, course structure, accommodation and other facilities at the campus.

Known for providing holistic learning and personality development opportunities for its students, this education fair helped students to learn about the skills and qualifications the universities are looking for and gave them an opportunity to get generic advice from University exhibitors on applications, finance and university life.
