8th Primary Annual Day, Std 1-5 – 30th November, 2017

Celebration needs no reason. It is that part of one&rsquo;s life that brings back the energy even when one has to spend hours practising for that performance which will enthral the audience. To top it, if the theme is FUSION, then it is an evening that everyone would want to relive.

GIIS KL, celebrated the 8th Primary Annual Day for Classes 1-5 in November, 2017 at the Galaxy Hall, HGH Sentul. The theme this year was FUSION. Dance knows no boundaries and when different styles come together, it lights up the stage. A bouquet of these colours was put together by students of classes 1 to 5. Dance fusion, costume fusion, face-offs, etc were the different colours of fusion portrayed. The show stoppers, however, were the ILLUSION &amp; RADIANCE acts. ILLUSION had the Black &amp; White show and Glow Sticks brought RADIANCE. Everyone who was a part of the show, whether it were the students performing or the teachers and choreographers who designed the show, put in their sweat and blood to make this journey memorable. Music breaks barriers regardless of language. It is universally understood. Classics soothe the soul and a medley of multi-lingual songs vocalise the feelings. Such renditions took our heart away.

Country Director Mr Manoj Nair and Principal Mr Harvendra Singh Khalsa awarded the trophies and certificates to the students for their academic excellence and 100% attendance. People who have dedicatedly spent a number of years in shaping the organization were also recognized on this joyous occasion. Teachers, Vendors and Staff members, who have spent a decade in giving their experienced inputs in making this an esteemed organisation, were recognized and presented with a memento. Five valuable years are also not little and, they too, were recognized and presented with mementos. The dedication of teachers, who have never taken a day off in the entire year, was also commended.&nbsp;

The vivacity of this theme, were the acts composed with an amalgamation of regalia and dance styles. The steadfastness of the children and the allegiance of the supervisory body were the acme of the extravaganza. The hypnotic feat mesmerised the August gathering of families making the evening enchanting.
