Jingle Bells, Dancing Christmas Trees and lots of Christmas Surprises at GIIS Bangalore

Childrens-Day-GIIS-Ahmedabad

The season of gifting was initiated with a bundle of surprises as the adorable tiny tots of Global Indian International School (GIIS) Bangalore Nursery showcased the Christmas fiesta on stage, during their Christmas themed Special Assembly. It seemed to all as though these wonder kids had come from Santa's fairyland, wearing Santa caps, with rosy cheeks and dressed up in red costumes.  The backdrop was beautiful and reflected the essence of the much awaited wintery fiesta, on stage.

The prayer song was followed by the first surprise - the 'CHRISTMAS' alphabet song. This was beautifully showcased using colorful placards . It was such a wonderful sight to see the little ones introduce every letter based on the rhythm of the song. There was surely much more to come. The smart girls danced to the jingle bell song using golden pompoms. The charming boys flaunted their Christmas tree prop as they danced to the song ' I am a Christmas Tree'. The creatively choreographed 'Rocking around the Christmas Tree' amazed all because of the candy stick prop used by the munchkins. The Christmas surprise for the parents was the 'Nativity play' video which showed the acting talent of the youngest GIISians of Bangalore. The Nursery kids kept the enthusiasm high and the curiosity higher. The pleasant carol song dance by them was perfect with the candle light props in their hands. Christmas is traditionally marked with Santa's visit and the children were excited and happy to see their bubbly Santa, who had come to wish them all a 'Merry Christmas'. The exhilaration was beyond words and the parents' happiness was beyond the zenith.  The smiling expressions of these children showcased the festive aura of Christmas which is known to bring happiness and love in the lives of people.

There were several activities in various classes representing Christmas and all the Grades from 1-9 had a class party too. The thought of sharing and gifting was flowing in from all the students and it was great to see the children imbibe these qualities right from their early years of schooling at GIIS, Bangalore.
