ACE AWARD FROM ASIA PACIFIC QUALITY ORGANIZATION (APQO)

GIIS Whitefield has received the ACE award from Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO) for ‘Encouraging Entrepreneurship’ at the International Quality Conference held in Manila. The Quality Circle presentation, by our Falcon Team, that was based on Entrepreneurship, won three stars. Mr. Ganesh Sharma-Principal and Ms. Preetha D 'Mello - Head Mistress, Pre Primary, received the award at a ceremony held on 24th October, 2017. 

  3 ELETS WORLD EDUCATION AWARDS

The World Education Summit (WES) felicitates unique initiatives and projects leading to a paradigm shift in the education sector across the world.
i) GIIS Whitefield received the award for "Innovation in Preschool Pedagogy " for the seven senses methodology that it has incorporated in the curriculum at the 10th Edition of Elets World Education Summit Awards 2017 held on 12th August, 2017 in New Delhi, India.

Aside this, Ms. Preetha D' Mello (Head Mistress, Pre Primary) received 2 Elets World Education Awards at the 11th Edition of Elets World Education Summit Awards 2017 held on 26th November, 2017 in Dubai, for the categories:
ii)    Innovation in Curriculum in Early Childhood Development
iii)   Innovations in Early Learning Pedagogy-iCare

  BEST CBSE SCHOOL IN BENGALURU - EDUCATION TODAY

GIIS Whitefield has also been awarded the India`s Best  CBSE School 2017-18 in Bengaluru among deserving schools in India (Jury's Choice Award) by Education Today in their 5th National Conference on K12 Leadership, 2017-18. Ms. Swati A Mishra - Academic Coordinator received this honour on behalf of the entire school, at the 'India School Merit Awards' function organized by Education Today in association with Brain Wonder on 9th December, 2017 in Bengaluru.

  THE BRITISH COUNCIL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARD (2017-2020)

International School Award (ISA) recognises and celebrates exemplary practices of internationalism in schools.  It is a benchmarking scheme that accredits schools as having an outstanding level of support for nurturing global citizenship in young people and enriching teaching and learning. Global Indian International School (GIIS) Whitefield received this prestigious award. Ms. Priya Rajesh-ISA Coordinator and Ms. Swati A Mishra - Academic Coordinator received this award on behalf of GIIS Whitefield on 15th December, 2017 in Chennai.
