GIIS Ahmedabad was started with the objective of delivering global education to its students. The school has completed 2 years of functioning, and has successfully implemented new ideas and innovative teaching- learning methodologies to bring out the best in students and teachers.

The school has facilities for video-conference between Ahmedabad campus and other campuses within the country and abroad. Technology enabled e-learning facilities include Britannica Learning Zone, Microsoft IT lab, smart classes etc.

GIIS Ahmedabad enjoys the privileges of a new-age school. Adding to the facilities, the school marked the end of the session by inaugurating its Music Room, Audio- Visual Room and the grand Library.

Music for Soul
The ‘Music Room’ was inaugurated by a group of founder parents and students. The program began with the lighting of the lamp by Mr. Caesar D’Silva, Principal GIIS Ahmedabad, parents and students. Mr. Caesar D’silva shared with the parents his views on the importance of music in one’s life. The tiny tots of Pre-primary sang the GIIS’ prayer song which was followed by a beautiful song on seven notes of Music; ‘SA, Re, Ga, Ma’, composed by music teacher Mr. Ravi. The parent were felicitated with bouquets. The students are waiting in anticipation to start singing and playing instruments in the new session.

Library; the Temple of Learning
A library is a place for learners to quench their thirst of knowledge. Reading skills are developed in a well-stocked library. The library was inaugurated on 23rd March by a group of founder parents and students. The event started with the lighting of the lamp and prayer song. Mr. D’silva felicitated the parents with bouquets. He addressed the gathering on the virtues of reading, ways of inculcating reading habits and the role then books play in every individual’s life. The event ended with gifting of story books to the children attending the inauguration function. Librarian, Ms. Grishma distributed book-marks to the tiny tots present and also to some of the parents.

Hi-tech Audio-Visual learning environment
The ‘Audio- Visual Room’ was also inaugurated by a group of founder parents and students, along with the school principal. It is a well-equipped and air-conditioned Audio- Visual room for use of students and staff to enhance "Teaching Learning Process". The room is equipped with a CD player, VCD player, LCD Projector, television, a computer and e-beam. Arrangements have been made in this room for participating in the educational programmes held across all campuses in India and abroad through video conference for both teachers and students. It enables the students to avail the benefits of the latest multimedia facilities.

Students of GIIS Ahmedabad are always evaluated on Learning Outcomes for their holistic development. In order to drive excellence in them, it is important to provide them with a perfect learning environment. The new facilities are a step in the direction.
