22nd March 2016: Culmination Day - Nursery
Culmination Day of Nursery Class was a platform to showcase the learnings of the youngest batch of students in the Academic Year 2015-16. The little ones of Nursery enthralled the audience by their presentations. Students dressed as little Barbie and Chotta Bheem were simply outstanding. The audience was happy to see their little ones presenting with confidence and poise. Mr. Caesar D’Silva- Principal GIIS Ahmedabad, in his speech emphasized that GIIS not only offers the best of academics, but also encourages an overall development of the children. He concluded by saying, “GIIS is a second home for children, nurtured by loving and caring teachers.”

23rd March 2016: Graduation Day
GIIS Ahmedabad wore a festive look illuminated with shinning faces of children of Kindergarten- II, as the school celebrated their Graduation ceremony. The little ones steered the event by their outstanding performances displaying their oratory skills. The celebration began with the school prayer and recital of shlokas by the children, followed by setting the stage ablaze by K2 students with their performances. They danced to the tune of ‘graduation song’ which ended in a ‘thank you’ song dedicated to their teachers and parents. Children were awarded with Graduation Certificates by the Principal. Their smiling faces were welcomed by a rapturous applause from the audience as they received the certificates. It was a sight that all parents will cherish. The entire school wished them their very best as they took their first step into Primary school.

26th March 2016: Parent Orientation Day
Orientation Day for parents of Pre-primary section was held at GIIS Ahmedabad to embrace the parent fraternity as a part of the GIIS family. The programme began with lightning of the lamp by Mr. Caesar D’Silva- Principal GIIS Ahmedabad and Ms. Ruchika Dhingra- Academic Coordinator and the youngest students of Pre-primary classes. A melodious prayer song was sung by the teachers.

Mr. D’Silva congratulated the parents for beckoning the journey at the beginning of the session and in his speech emphasized on Happiness Index and the attempt of GIIS Ahmedabad to create a stress-free environment for learning. The entire staff, both academic and non-academic, was introduced by the Principal to the new parents.

The teachers explained the Early Years’ curriculum for the Pre-primary section. Global Montessori Programme (GMP), a well-crafted proprietary curriculum which focuses on holistic development of the children, was well received by the parents. The teachers shared the guidelines to the parents for the new academic session and answered their queries. Overall it was an informative and interactive session. A warm welcome awaited the tiny-tots of GIIS Ahmedabad coupled with lots of best wishes.
