Embarking on a journey of joy and festive fervor, GIIS Whitefield recently hosted a Christmas Carnival, aptly named "Winter Melodies." The school's campus was magically transformed into a whimsical wonderland, enveloping students, teachers, and families in a joyous celebration of the holiday season.

The event kicked off with a warm welcome to the renowned singer, Mr. Sai Vignesh, famous for his hit song "Varaharupam" from the movie Kantara. The chief guest, Deputy Country Director Mr. Avneesh Singh, was felicitated amidst cheers, setting the stage for an evening of enchanting performances.

Pooja Music Academy graced the stage with a beautiful rendition, and the school's own talented students showcased their dance and musical prowess. Sai Vignesh had the audience on their feet with a mesmerizing performance of his popular tracks, keeping the festive spirit alive. Sponsors Ceyone Builders, Pratham Motors, Ather Electric Bike, and Motoworld Yamaha added to the grandeur of the carnival. Delightful food stalls satisfied the culinary cravings of parents and children alike.  

A special lucky draw added an element of excitement, with Sai Vignesh announcing the winner amidst cheers. The school reverberated with laughter and merriment as our Pre-primary teacher, Ashok , dressed as Santa Claus, danced through the grounds, spreading joy.

The heart of the carnival lay in its diverse array of activities and stalls. From kindergarten students displaying handmade crafts to booths featuring artistic creations, the school emanated an infectious holiday spirit. The event showcased the artistic prowess of the school, with students demonstrating their talents through captivating performances, highlighting the unity and camaraderie within the school community.
