GIIS Whitefield shines at RWCC 2023 with remarkable wins across categories

GIIS Whitefield reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing young talents as the twelfth Real World Challenges Convention (RWCC) unfolded at the GIIS SMART Campus. Themed "HOPE 2030 – Heralding Opportunity Possibility Equality for a Greener Safer Happier World," the event transcended the realms of a conventional competition, emerging as a dynamic platform for over 800 students, parents, and academic leaders to foster innovation, problem-solving skills, and collaborative learning among participants.

 

This year's RWCC, featuring 16 diverse competitions, witnessed enthusiastic participation from GIIS schools globally, as well as GSF schools such as OWIS, Vikaasa, Glendale, Witty, CIS Manila, and DIS Manila. A record-breaking 300+ students from various locations converged at the SMART Campus, showcasing an unprecedented spirit of camaraderie and academic prowess.

 

Among the standout achievers from GIIS Whitefield, Saanchi Behura, Shravan Joarder, Saanvi Nayak, Ryan Robin, and Shrihan Patil from KG2 clinched the First position in the Lil Mavericks competition. Adding to the glory, students like Aradhaya Nair, Parvathy P Menon, Anirudh Harish, Sharvi S Hiremath, and Nakshatra Mishra secured the top spot in another Lil Mavericks challenge within the lower primary category.

 

Noteworthy wins extended to middle school participants, with Fatima Tanvi, Ishita Binesh Nair, and Akshara J Pillai claiming the first position in Adzap, and Vibha Amit securing the 1st position in Wellness Wave. The collaborative efforts of Charith A Reddy, Sanooj Rijesh, and Aditya Shetty earned them the 3rd position in Appnovation, while Anoushka Rajesh and Abhmanyu Amit Menon titled Best Team with the 2nd position in Student Conference. Daksh Vineeth, Aaradhy Sharma, Atharva Komma from Upper Primary secured the third position in QCP 

 

GIIS Whitefield's grade 9 students secured third place in the QCP (Quality Circle Presentation) competition, showcasing exceptional problem-solving skills. The team, comprising Krisha Reddy, Aditi Harish, Mayukh Sahay, Trijal Sharma, and Sahana Saravanan, tackled complex challenges with analytical prowess. The middle school team, including Shreyas Reddy, Simrit Kaur, Kushal Arora, Govardhan Vijayendiran, and Shreya Sai, also claimed the third position, underscoring the school's commitment to fostering cognitive abilities. Arti of CAIE Grade 9 bagged third position in Innovative Social commercial Entrepreneurship.

 

In U14 Badminton, Tanya, Thanmaya Ranish, Shradhha Krishna, and Ardra Manoj secured third place in the girls' category, while Aarush Ray Kumar, Varchas Mishra, and Harsh Raj exhibited remarkable skill, earning second place in the boys' competition. These achievements highlight the diverse talents and collaborative spirit at GIIS Whitefield.

 

These triumphs underscore not only academic excellence but also the holistic development of students at GIIS Whitefield, embodying the school's commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals. The RWCC 2023 stands as a testament to the school's dedication to providing a global platform for students to explore, innovate, and excel.
